Quango Music Group, and lifestyle retailer, American Rag CIE, have joined
forces again to present the second volume of its lifestyle compilation series.
Following the success of the first American Rag compilation, Quango returns
this summer with the second installment of the soundtrack to the hip lifestyle
retailer, in time to celebrate the grand opening of their new store at Fashion
Island.
Focusing on the fun, entertaining experience of the American Rag CIE stores
in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Tokyo as well as the youth inspired energy
of its Macy's distributed clothing line, this special double-disc deluxe compilation
showcases many exclusive and never before released tracks. Disc 1 is a lush
journey into brazillian soul and chilled out electronica, while Disc 2 moves
you from mid-tempo grooves to forward thinking dancefloor electro house.
Over half the tracks on this double disc compilation have never been released
on CD anywhere before - tracks from the likes of Sia, Bitter:Sweet, New Order,
Kraak & Smaak, Afterlife, and Kate Havnevik as well as remixes by such
heavy hitters as Mylo, Jacques Lu Cont, Tom Middleton, and Charles Webster.
