Described as an electronic dub and reggae masterpiece, Djosos
Krost's debut album 'No Sign Of Bad' is a smooth juxtaposition
of Nordic Electronics sounds with warm Jamaican vibes! Pharfar
and Filip - the core duo of Djosos Krost (and the producers behind
Junior Senior's massive crossover hit 'Move Your Feet') - tweak
out dubby sounds from roots music to the deepest of electro from
their studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, to create a diverse, yet integrated,
album that is danceable - but even more so it's listenable
Working double-time as Producers as well as performers on the album, The Djosos
Krost collective also extends to musicians and vocalists with roots as far apart
as Jamaica, Manchester, Barbados, Eastern Europe, and Russia. Most of them are
now jointly based in Copenhagen and all part of a burgeoning community. Featured
collaborators include Tuco on lead vocals, Emo on vocals/keyboards and dub fx,
Daniel Muschinsky on keyboards/melodica and Jacob Mortensen on bass. On special
occasions special guest vocalists Jah Bobby and Little T join the band for live
performances.
