Quango - The lifestyle music company

New Releases

Two years after their intoxicating debut, Bitter:Sweet returns with their much anticipated sophomore release, Drama. Aptly titled, the album takes the listener through a range of heightened emotions and sounds. The meticulous production, impeccable songwriting, and sensual vocals are present as ever on an album that polishes the signature style introduced by The Mating Game.

Backed with full string ensembles and horn sections Drama embraces a more organic sound that moves Bitter:Sweet confidently into the pop realm. Equal parts flirtatious numbers, and achingly beautiful songs; Drama is playful, moving, and sure to become a classic.

You can preorder it off of iTunes here, or preorder the CD from the Quango store!

Rosey - Luckiest Girl
There’s something undeniably seductive about jazz music – its glamour, sexuality, and earnest, soulful roots all appear to a comfortable, old-fashioned, musical sensibility. Yet singer-songwriter Rosey is one of the select few who sees one step beyond the classic image and recognizes the genre as an entirely fresh form of pop music. A longtime jazz lover who began her eclectic career as a rock n’ roll siren on Island/Def Jam, Rosey is unique in her ability to find the delicate balance between both eras on Luckiest Girl, her smoky, sensual, self-produced Quango debut, out now! For a taste of Luckiest Girl, check out this sweet ecard. Get the CD here, or if you’re a digital enthusiast, grab it off iTunes.
Sunny Levine - Love Rhino
Spring is here and so is singer songwriter
Sunny Levine’s anticipated debut Love Rhino. Sunny hails from Venice, CA and an impressive lineage of music: his grandfather is Quincy Jones, his pops is producer Stewart Levine (Joe Cocker, Simply Red, BB King), and his uncle is producer QD3 (Tupac, Ice Cube). Sunny's been producing some pretty groundbreaking tunes himself (The Happy Mondays, Mickey Avalon); now it’s his turn as an artist, with his gorgeous solo album Love Rhino out today. You can check out the ecard for a taste of his laid back, textured sounds. Get the CD here, or if you’re a digital enthusiast, grab it off iTunes.
